Sunrisers Hyderabad Praises Nicholas Pooran For His Brilliant Knock In The Nick Of Time

Nicholas Pooran

After West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran smashed a perfect knock SunRisers Hyderabad took to their official Twitter account and congratulated him.

For those who aren’t aware of Pooran’s this knock, here is a glimpse of it:

Shai Hope and captain Nicholas Pooran formed a partnership that primarily benefited the West Indies.

Before Pooran was bowled, the pair accumulated 117 runs in 126 balls for the fourth wicket. Both hitters had reached their half-centuries before then.

In fact, Nicholas Pooran was poised to lead West Indies to a respectable score after starting to open his arms and hitting Chahal for two sixes.

However, Pooran was caught by Shardul Thakur after scoring 74 in 77 balls with 1 four and 6 sixes.

Shreyas Iyer’s time at the crease was cut short by a sensational catch by captain Nicholas Pooran, and the batsman left after making 54 runs.

Pooran made an incredible grab with one hand on the sixth ball of Motie’s 36th over.

Iyer moved over and attempted to play an inside-out shot, but he was unable to achieve sufficient elevation.

The ball became trapped in Pooran’s right hand when he leaped. Iyer had to walk back to the hut as a result.

Pooran attempted to hit Shardul for a boundary on the fourth delivery of the 44th over by swiping across his stumps in the direction of the off-side.

Pooran was in a dangerous position when Thakur bowled the ball on the leg stump, but he was too far away from off to make contact, and the ball clattered into his leg-stump, ending his innings.
