Before this match against SRH, KL Rahul needed just one run to reach this milestone, and he got there when he was dismissed for just four in yesterday’s game.
Virat Kohli the 5,000 runs of the shortest format in 167 innings. Whereas the PBKS skipper, Rahul, scored the same amount of runs in just 143 innings. Kohli is the leading run-getter of this cash-rich league tournament. The King has scored 5949 runs in 187 innings of the Indian Premier League.
KL Rahul has played just 76 innings so far in the IPL, and he has scored 2,808 runs with two centuries and 23 half-centuries. In the ongoing IPL 2021 season, KL Rahul has scored 161 in four matches.
He scored a brilliant 91 runs against Rajasthan Royals, which Punjab Kings won. But they lost three games on the trot. Now PBKS will face Mumbai Indians tomorrow at Chennai.
