In the first game, India outperformed the West Indies in each of the three categories. Dinesh Karthik and skipper Rohit Sharma contributed the most runs with 64 and 41 respectively.
West Indies only managed to score 122 to counter India’s 190. Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, and Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets.
The home team will be looking to win their first game of the series against the Men in Blue in St. Kitts after failing to win a single game in the ODI series.
Thus Delhi Capitals took to Twitter and propelled Team India to perform their best
“Let’s keep the good form going boys 🤞🏼
Into the 2nd T20I we go!”
For the unversed both the teams had already locked horns in the 1st T20I and now both are up for the 2nd T20I. Here is the glimpse of 1st T20I:
India took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series on Friday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad after defeating West Indies by 68 runs in the first Twenty20 International.
While attempting to reach a target of 191, West Indies were restricted to a total of 122 for eight in 20 overs. India captured two wickets thanks to Arshdeep Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravi Bishnoi.
Dinesh Karthik and Rohit Sharma, who both produced outstanding 64s, helped India score 190 for six against the West Indies earlier.
In its opening at-bat, India did well due to Rohit and Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar and Shreyas Iyer were immediately lost by India, giving the West Indies the victory.
India lost wickets at frequent intervals before reaching a respectable total before Karthik’s comeback.
