After the Indian Premier League has started, the standards have been set high for the other leagues in the segment. Even though numerous other tournaments and leagues have been introduced after the Indian Premier League, there is no other tournament to have such a huge fan following and money investment as IPL.

While choosing players for the teams, having all-rounders in the team is very important as they can both bowl and bat and might be proven very important in critical situations. All-rounder’s ability to perform helps a team lot in both the bowling and batting.

Over the years, we have seen some of the great all-rounders in the IPL. There have been some great players who performed very well in the matches. We have listed some of the best all-rounder players in the IPL so far.

  • Kieron Pollard Pollard has been showing off his powerful performance since the very beginning of his IPL career. He was picked by the Mumbai Indians team in 2010 and he’s been playing for the MI since then. Pollard has played 164 matches so far where he scored more than 3000 runs and took 60 wickets. His bowling has not been up to the mark but he’s very dangerous with the bat.
  • Dwayne Bravo – Dwayne Bravo has played for multiple teams in the tournament over the years. He is also one of the valuable players in the IPL. Bravo has played 140 matches so far and his batting score is 149p runs and he has taken 153 wickets.
  • Shane Watson – Shane Watson is an Australian cricketer who has played for RR, RCB, and CSK in the IPL. He helped the Rajasthan Royals team to win their first IPL title in 2008. So far, Shane Watson has scored 3874 runs in his IPL career and 92 wickets.
  • Ravinder Jadeja – the Indian all-rounder, Jadeja never fails to impress the audience with his bowling as well as batting abilities. Jadeja mostly has played for the Chennai team in his IPL career. He has a score of more than 2100 runs and 114 wickets in the IPL.
  • Hardik Pandya – Another Indian player, Hardik Pandya is a very aggressive player when it comes to batting and very sharp when bowling. Pandya plays for Mumbai Indians and in the last six seasons, Pandya has scored 1349 runs and picked up 42 wickets.
