The Kolkata Knight Riders will take on the formidable Punjab Kings in the eighth match of the IPL 2022 on April 1 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. KKR will be desperate to get back on track after losing this competition.

After they started their journey with a six-wicket win over defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the first match, Royal Challengers lost by three wickets to Bangalore in the last over of the last match.

The Punjab Kings, on the other hand, will be confident of chasing more than 200 runs against RCB in their first match of the season last weekend. Captain Faf du Plessis’ great 8-run innings helped them win the match by easily chasing 205 runs on the board, so Punjab will now keep an eye on their second consecutive victory.

Wankhede wicket must be set before a batter. It is possible to make big runs if you get used to the speed and bounce of the ball. The teams that have batted first in the last two matches of this tournament have not been able to score a single challenging score on the board which may be enough to defend in the end.

Fans Demand Exclusion Of Ajinkya Rahane

The 8th match of IPL 2022 is going to be played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Punjab Kings (PKBS) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai today. In this match, where KKR is going to play its third match, Punjab Kings will play its second match.

Let us tell you that both the teams played their last match against RCB, in which KKR had to face defeat from RCB, while Punjab Kings chasing the score like 205 mountain of RCB was successful in winning the match. KKR had shown very poor performance against RCB in their last match. Their batting was a flop, even the opening pair was a flop. After the loss to RCB, the fans are continuously demanding the exclusion of a player.

IPL 2022 started with KKR and CSK’s match in which KKR beat CSK by 6 wickets. Ajinkya Rahane was the highest scorer for KKR in this match, but in his second match, Rahane could not do much and was dismissed after scoring only 8 runs. By the way, let us tell you that Rahane has been running out of form for a long time.

In the IPL too, Rahane has not been getting big innings from the bat for the last two years. Talking about the last season, this batsman was given a chance to play in 1 inning of only 2 matches, in which he scored 8 runs.

In this season too, Rahane has not been able to do anything special so far. Seeing his poor performance, fans on social media are demanding to drop him from the team.
