There were limited opportunities and limited monetary benefits. She initiated her journey in cricket as a child in Newcastle in the role of development officer. She always believed that the power of the game could change the lives of young people. 

Clark and those around her have always led in the front whether that involves winning the world cup or any other matches. Her now primary focus is building leadership skills for 10-15- year-old girls.
