Garuda Aerospace is developing low-cost drone solutions and is a ‘drone-as-a-software’ aggregator that designs drones for human and industrial work.
6th June marks itself in history for yet another reason, Legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni becomes the Brand Ambassador and Shareholder of Garuda Aerospace, a drone startup offering unique solutions for agriculture.
To express his joy in becoming a part of Garuda Aerospace, Dhoni said “I look forward to witnessing their growth story with the unique drone solutions they have to offer.”
On which CEO of Garuda Aerospace Agnishwar Jayaprakash said that he is an ardent fan of Dhoni. He further stated that “To have him as a part of the Garuda Aerospace family is honestly a dream come true,” Jayaprakash added. “Mahi Bhai is the epitome of dedication and I firmly believe that having Captain Cool on our Cap table adds tremendous value which will motivate our team to perform better.”
The CEO further told this his enterprise is on the way to becoming India’s first drone unicorn startup with 300 drones and 500 pilots across 26 cities.
After taking retirement from cricket Dhoni has been involved in many businesses viz liquor, clothing, and agriculture and now he is all set to enter a new business of drones. However, this investment is a bit different as he is not only the shareholder of the company but also the brand ambassador.
The amount invested by Dhoni in this business remains undisclosed
