“I got to face some good quality bowling”, Sachin Tendulkar responds to Isa Guha’s

The master blaster Sachin Tendulkar also referred to as the ‘God of Cricket’ was seen replying back to Isa Guha’s Twitter post where she took fans down the memory lane.

In the Throwback picture, one can see Isa throwing a ball towards the Cricket Master in the nets.

Isa, a cricketer turned commentator also opened about an amazing ability of Sachin, mentioning that Sachin played cricket left-handed and was equally comfortable in his un-natural playing gesture.

Isa twitted in her post, “One of the finds from lockdown! He won’t remember but in 2005, recovering from an elbow injury, the Little Master asked for some net bowlers & I was one of the lucky few. We bowled for an hr – Sachin batted left-handed too & was just as good”

Sachin was fairly quick to revert on her tweet and praised Isa fondly remembering the incident. He wrote, “Vividly remember this Isa! I was looking for some practice and I got to face some good quality bowling courtesy you.”

“I got to face some good quality bowling”, Sachin Tendulkar responds to Isa Guha’s

Guha’s pic is from 2005 when Sachin after an enduring Tennis elbow injury was working hard to get back into his original form. Sachin sustained a tennis elbow injury in 2004 because of which he was off cricket for 2 months.

He returned for the Australia Test series later in the year but eventually had to go for surgery in London. Tendulkar made a stunning return in his comeback match against Sri Lanka.

This probably has been the darkest face of the cricketer and he has spoken about this in the past as well. Sachin once mentioned that after his surgery, he was not able to pick up the cricket bat and was really depressed.

He said that he would call his friends late in the night and used to ask them to go for a drive as he was unable to sleep. He was thankful to his family and friends as they stood by him.

Sachin in the past also opened about how he felt after sustaining a career-threatening injury.

He once quoted that, “Tennis elbow was really bad and a number of my friends have had tennis elbow after that. When they didn’t have it, they used to say how painful can it get; it can’t be that bad that you can’t hold a cricket bat. I said you need to experience it once, then you’ll know. If you are locked inside a room, you’ll not be able to open the door, it was that bad.”

Meanwhile, Guha expressed her delight in receiving the response from Sachin, where she quoted his tweet and mentioned, “Um life made!! Although you are too kind, Sachin. What a dream. #bestnetever I hope you are all well and safe in India.
