Yuzvendra Chahal Almost Died! Cricketer Shares Traumatic Story Of His Encounter With Death

Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the big names in the current generation of Indian cricketers. He has ruined many experienced batsmen with his spin magic. His record is also strong in the Indian Premier League.

Chahal has won many matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last few seasons. He is playing for Rajasthan Royals this season. Chahal recently shared a story with his new franchise teammates Ravichandran Ashwin and Karun Nair in a video that will surprise you.

Rajasthan Royals posted this video from their official Twitter handle. Ravichandran Ashwin first spoke to Karun Nair then Chahal’s turn. In this video of 8 minutes and 40 seconds, Chahal started talking at 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Chahal talks about how he lost his life in the 2013 IPL because of a drunken cricketer.

Yuzvendra Chahal witnessed a horrible incident while he was in the Mumbai Indians team. He almost came back from the brink of death. The star legspinner mentioned this in an open discussion with R Ashwin on the Rajasthan Royals chat show.

“I never told this story,” Chahal said. “No one knows. But today I want to highlight this incident in front of everyone.” Ashwin was also surprised to hear Chahal’s way of speaking.

Chahal always likes to have fun. But what happened to him? Chahal goes on to say, “It happened in 2013 when I was in the Mumbai Indians team. The party was going on at the end of the match in Bangalore. There was a cricketer who drank heavily. I do not want to reveal his name. He drank so much that he looked at me for a long time. He then called me to him and took me to the balcony. I was hung from the 15th floor. If my hand slipped at that moment, no one could save me. A few people saw the situation and rushed to my rescue. “

Chahal fainted for some time after that incident. “I was in a coma for a while,” he said. That was one of the scariest moments of my life. “That moment has made me stronger,” he said. “Cricket has given me more strength since then. I will never forget this experience.”
