One of the most destructive batsmen of the Indian Cricket team, Yuvraj Singh who still holds the record for smashing six consecutive maximums and making the fastest fifty in just 12 balls in the T20 format, fell head over heels for the woman who didn’t even watch cricket before meeting him. On 12th November 2015, Hazel got engaged to the most wanted bachelor in the Indian Cricket team, Yuvraj Singh. Although their love story is not one of those typical “love at first sight” stories. Their story can definitely be a script for a Bollywood blockbuster romance.
Hazel and Yuvraj met through a common friend and Yuvraj liked her instantly, though the feeling was not mutual for several years. Yuvraj asked Hazel out for coffee but she turned up. Hazel never declined Yuvraj’s coffee even though she never showed up. She used to make excuses at the very last moment. Sometimes she even used to switch off her phone.
But, Yuvraj is definitely one determinant personality. After a few years, he again tried to approach Keech. He sent her a friend request on Facebook which Hazel didn’t accept for 3 months. Yuvraj just needed a green signal and he did get it when Hazel accepted his request.
After that, they spent time and fell for each other hard and deep. Yuvraj proposed to her in Bali and also spent hours selecting a ring for her. He got her a very beautiful solitaire ring with the help of his mother Shabnam Singh.
