During the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, Wriddhiman Saha had a groin injury on 27 October 2020 in Dubai at Dubai International Stadium. Though Sunrisers won the match, Saha, because of his injury was not able to play the Indian Premier League’s eliminators and second qualifier. In that match, Super-Saha was crowned as Man of The Match.

Wriddhiman can be witnessed receiving the trophy and a cheque worth ₹ 1 lakh,

He was injured once again on 3rd November 2020 in a match against Mumbai Indians.

The team India has to face Australia in the One Day International on 27 November 2020. BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) shared a video in which Wriddhiman Saha was spotted playing in the nets with Sri Lanka player Nuwan Seneviratne and Indian player Dayananda Guarani bowling.

BCCI tweeted,

In this video, we can barely see Saha missing any ball. He seems more agile, light-footed, and more confident than before. Although there is not any surety of him being all well, he seems to have gained some recovery.

Ishant Sharma too is suffering from a previous injury (abdominal muscles tear) and is in National Cricket Academy as of now. Both players are expected to play the test series against Australia and by that time they would fully be fine.

Team India, on the other hand, have left for Australia on 11 November 2020. The team can be seen steady and ready for the match and BCCI shared a full team picture,

India would play three One Day Internationals and three T20Is and four-test series and two practice matches in the two-month tour of Australia. Australia and India are the top two teams on the World Test Championship Points table. The first One Day International between Australia and India will be played on 27 November 2020 in Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney.
