World’s largest river island Majuli in Assam to have new cricket stadium of its own

BCCI’s efforts over the past 1 and a half years ever since Sourav Ganguly took over as its chairperson have been quite appreciable.

The way India’s team has developed over the past year and the way they have performed in various tournaments and series all around the world has been amazing. India has found the right balance and right players at the right spot which has constructed a strong team.

It was only that one match in the World Cup where India’s performance was not up to the mark in the semifinal and India lost that match. Apart from that India were the group toppers in that tournament with each player performing to the best of their ability.

IPL successfully conducted:

The way BCCI conducted the IPL in September and October this year has to be praised as despite all the difficult times that the corona virus had created, the BCCI used India’s international relations with the UAE and made sure that the year does not go waste for the domestic players and they get to learn from the tournament like each year.

A beautiful step:

Another amazing step was taken by the BCCI recently when it decided to constitute a stadium in India’s riverine Island Maujuli (the largest in the world) which is located in Assam. It will be a part of initiative to expand sports all across the nation. It will also form a part of natural beauty as it is the only riverine Island of India.
