Every Chennai Super Kings fan is well aware of the fact that Ambati Rayudu is a big asset to the team as he performs consistently which is very rare from any other player in their squad.
In the IPL 2020 opener against Mumbai Indians, he was the most integral part of the team scoring 71 and making a long partnership with Faf du Plessis which lead to a successful run chase at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
However, he would have been badly missed by the captain MS Dhoni as CSK lost their second game against Rajasthan Royals by a margin of just 16 runs. Rayudu was out of the match as he suffered a hamstring injury against the Mumbai Indians and was unfit for this match.
Will He Be Back:
However, there’s no need to worry for any CSK fan as the CEO of the team Kasi Viswanathan recently told while speaking to ANI that Ambati Rayudu would miss at worst just one match more before he is back in action for the CSK.
Even if he misses the next game against Delhi, hopefully, he can return for the fourth game against Sunrisers Hyderabad which is scheduled on October 2.
CSK who have already lost Suresh Raina due to personal reasons have very high expectations from Rayudu to control the middle order.
