Ravicharan Ashwin is one of the best all-rounders that the Indian team ever released. The records that he made to his name clearly show what a great player he is. The player again did some great bowling in the test match against England which was held in Chennai.

Ashwin had a brilliant performance in the match with 8 wickets and 106 runs in the second innings which led to team India win the match by 317 runs. The player also got the Man of the Match award for the great performance.

It was not the only time that Ravicharan Ashwin has shown such a brilliant performance. There had been instances where the player has performed well. The local boy has hit more than 2500 runs in his Test career with 394 wickets. Even after such great performances by Ashwin, the question that remains is that is he the best bowler that team India ever had?

If we talk about numbers, he has so far played 10 test matches less than Harbhajan Singh ever had played and still he has taken 6 more wickets than him. The player has played 20 matches less than the legend Kapil dev and has a wickets record of 52 wickets more than him. Ravicharan Ashwin is the only player so far who has a strike rate of 55.70. There is no other player to have such a high strike rate. If he takes more than 80 wickets in the future, he will pass Anil Kumble’s all-time wickets.
