In the first half of the league, DC were dominant, but later on due to their four consecutive defeats including the final one against Mumbai Indians, game was getting out of hands!

Batting in their first-ever IPL final, Capitals starting was not good and they reduced to 22/3 inside just five overs, however, the superb bond of captain Iyer and Rishabh Pant made fabulous 996-runs and ensured a healthy total for their team!

Chasing Delhi’s score of 156/7, Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma smashed 68 runs off 51 balls with generous support from Quinton De Kock who made 20 off 12, Ishan Kishan 33 off 19, and Suryakumar Yadav 19 off 20 who shared a part of 45-run stand with Rohit Sharma!
