Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team’s captain is one of the most aggressive people in the whole cricket fraternity. He has been seen a lot of times using foul language on the ground. One of the former players of the English Cricket team, David Lloyd, recently opened up on his views regarding Virat Kohli’s behavior on the ground and it looks like the former player is not much happy with Kohli’s behavior.
KOHLI NOT RESPECTING UMPIRES
According to the former England cricketer David Lloyd, Virat Kohli has been getting personal with the Umpires on the ground and has disrespected them. He also added that Kohli has many a time-pressured the umpires too to make decisions. He said that he has noticed such behavior of Kohli in all the matches of the test series and T20 series between India and England.
UMPIRES MAKING THE WRONG CALL
Also, in a T20 match against England, an England player took the catch of Indian player Suryakumar Yadav in which the ball touched the ground and still the umpire gave the out decision. Due to the wrong decision, Virat Kohli got disappointed with Umpire and also expressed his dissatisfaction after the match. Kohli suggested that there should be an option for the umpire in which he can say if he didn’t know what to decide. Kohli also added that the umpire got pressurized with the England team and gave the wrong decision.
It’s been getting controversial as David Lloyd said that Kohli is the one who is pressurizing the umpires while Kohli blamed the England players. David said that he didn’t know about the England players pressurizing the Umpires but he did know that Kohli was pressurizing and disrespecting the umpires throughout England’s tour of India. He added that he can’t slam the Umpires and disrespect them. Kohli should know what to speak as he’s the captain of an International team, David added.
Lloyd also added that things won’t be able to work out if rules to be made according to Kohli. It looks like David is not much happy with Kohli and his actions. Do you think
David’s statements on Virat Kohli are right?
