Venkatesh Prasad Took To His Social Media To Wish MSD

On Thursday, July 7, MS Dhoni celebrated his 41st birthday. The renowned cricketing hero received congratulations from people all across the world, including some of the sport’s biggest stars. 

Being the most successful captain in Indian cricket history, Mahendra Singh Dhoni left a lasting influence on other players, and on this particular day, his former teammates showered the Ranchi-native with birthday greetings.

For the unversed, Dhoni was discovered when he represented Jharkhand in a game at Jamshedpur in 2003, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) used its small-town talent-spotting initiative to identify him. 

Prakash Podder, a former Indian batter, observed Dhoni and suggested that he should attend the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Former Indian Cricketer Venkatesh Prasad also wished him by tweeting a special message for him along with his picture with him

He mentioned Dhoni as someone who is well aware of dealing with diverse situations. He wrote

Bapu Krishnarao Venkatesh Prasad, born on August 5, 1969, is a former Indian cricketer who played in both Test and ODI matches.

He is also a cricket coach and commentator. In 1994, he made his debut. Prasad was primarily a right-arm medium-fast bowler who rose to prominence for his bowling partnership with Javagal Srinath.

He served in the same capacity for the Indian cricket team from 2007 to 2009 and is currently the bowling coach for Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League.

He is Canara Bank’s deputy general manager at the moment.
