The Cricket Control Council of India (BCCI) is eager to introduce two new franchise teams in the upcoming IPL season.
The board of directors will initiate a tender for this in July. Now ten teams are been discussed for a long time.
According to a report published on Cricbuzz, BCCI plans to complete the auction of the two teams before the second phase of IPL14.
It is believed that the work of adding new will be completed in July. However, the board of directors has not yet issued an official statement in this regard.
The managing director of a company is interested in buying a franchise. They said, We know that the tender will take place next month. We have been waiting for a long time. We will not be surprised if the basic price remains at 250 million rupees.
There is speculation that Ahmedabad can be a franchise team. According to media reports, the two new teams being considered in the IPL and may include the names of Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Lucknow Or Pune.
It is believed that Ahmedabad’s name has been confirmed, and Kanpur, Lucknow and Pune may have another team.
Sanjeev Goenka’s Adani Group and RPSG Group are said to be the first to purchase the teams.
