The Chennai Super Kings stopped RCB’s winning streak after the all-around show of Ravindra Jadeja completely hammered them. CSK win that match by 69 runs yesterday, and now RCB will not be with additional bowling services for the remaining matches of the IPL 2021 season.
Australia’s spin bowler, Adam Zampa, and pacer Kane Richardson will not be a part of the RCB squad form. Rajasthan Royals pacer bowler Andrew Tye too opted of this year’s tournament midway. He feared that the Australians wouldn’t take him into the country because the COVID 19 cases are increasing in the country.
They brought Adam Zampa for 1.5 crores, and the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise paid Kane Richardson four crores. Still, both the players will return to Australia, and they would miss the remaining matches of the IPL 2021 season.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise has released a statement on Twitter saying that the two Australian players, Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson, have opted out of the tournament midway because of their personal reasons. The RCB team and the franchise have agreed to it, and they will give the two Aussie players full support.
India has been struggling to manage the rising cases of COVID 19. We might relate the decision which the three Australian players and Liam Livingstone have taken to this issue.
After Zampa, Kane Richardson, Tye, Livingstone, there are reports that Indian Test specialist spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin also has left the IPL 2021 season midway. Ashwin plays for the DC – Delhi Capitals Franchise.
