The extraordinary Indian cricketer, Cheteshwar Pujara earlier on Monday came to be merely the 11th Indian batsman to surpass the 6000 run mark in Test format cricket.

Cheteshwar Pujara, involving in his career’s 80th test competition, attained the milestone on the ultimate day of the third and the penultimate test clash to take on Australia being played at the venue of Sydney Cricket Ground.

The global cricket governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC) didn’t wait for too long to compliment and congratulate the Indian batsman, Cheteshwar Pujara.  

Cheteshwar Pujara has found himself the 11th spot in the list of Indian batsmen to surpass 6000 runs in the test game, what an incredible performer he has been for the Indian squad.

The former Indian batsman, Sachin Tendulkar who has amassed 15,921 runs; the ex-Indian batsman, Rahul Dravid has accumulated 13,265 runs in the test format; the former skipper, Sunil Gavaskar has gathered 10,122 runs;  the retired batsman, VVS Laxman has compiled 8,781 runs whereas the former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag has compiled 8,503 runs; the present Indian skipper,  Virat Kohli has amassed 7,318 runs as of now; the former skipper, Sourav Ganguly has acquired 7,212 runs, while the former batsman, Dilip Vengsarkar has gathered 6,868 runs, the former batsman, Mohammad Azharuddin has compiled 6,215 runs, the ex-batsman, Gundappa Viswanath has amassed 6,080 runs in the test format cricket.
