SURESH RAINA ENTERED THE ELITE 100CR CLUB AS HE SIGNED THE 2021 IPL CONTRACT WITH CSK

A few days ago, there was a topic which was enthusiastically discussed between Kapil Dev and a famous journalist and sportswriter, Ayaz Memon. It was like – is big money in cricket an incentive or distraction? And the conclusion of the deliberation just like Kapil Dev said it is surely an inspirational thing that drives the players to play more engagingly. But the most important thing is the talent with training which lets the want-to-be players in the team at any level. And because of the diligence and exceptional display in cricket games, one player in India has stepped in the INR 100 Cr Club of IPL.

Chinna Thala’s Tenacity Results!

The player about whom we are talking is the left-handed batsman and one of the greatest fielders, Suresh Raina. Yes, Suresh Raina has become the 4th Indian player to cross the benchmark of the salary, 100 Cr. MS Dhoni who is undisputedly loved by all fans in India and all over the world has had a very victorious career, be it One Day International T20 International or Test. In the last 12 years in IPL from the team Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Super Giants he has earned about INR 137 Cr.

After MS Dhoni, the Mumbai Indians player Rohit Sharma is the second one to have surpassed the milestone of INR 100 Cr and has gained about INR 131 Cr, he was first in the Deccan Chargers Team and then he joined Mumbai Indians in 2011. He was retained in IPL 2020 for INR 15 Cr and is also retained for the upcoming 2021 IPL by Reliance Industries Limited. The Mumbai Indians has also released 7 players ahead of IPL 2021.

Last but not least!

Virat Kohli, the cricketer who plays from the side of RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) too had entered the elite 100 Cr Club and had been granted INR 126 Cr by the IPL. And now from the same team as MS Dhoni, CSK (Chennai Super Kings), Suresh Raina has also enlisted his name in the cricketers’ list who had earned more than a Hundred Crore Rupees from the IPL.

However, Suresh Raina could have been in the club in the IPL 2020 but he left the IPL midway for some individual reasons. Along with him this year, Mr. 360o has also paced into IPL’s  100 Cr Club.

One thought which might arouse in our minds is that Oh! Man, that’s a huge amount of bucks, but the thing to notice is that they have not got this easily, their maintained performance in the Indian Premier League and the spirit of playing, all above, has brought them to the place they stand now. Irrespective of how much they earn, they will always be in their fans’ and our hearts.
