Steve Smith has ‘unfinished business’ with England and; India

Sports is one of the biggest components of entertainment and sports news is always full of interesting facts and incidents. When it comes to sports, cricket is always ruling the audience, and whether a person is a cricket fan of not, nobody skips the news related to cricket.

You must have heard the name of ‘Steve Smith’, the Australian international cricketer and also a former team captain. He made his cricket debut in 2007-2008 and became an instant hit amongst the audience.

More then his balling skills, people applauded him for his batting and since then, Smith started working more upon his batting skills and emerged as a world-class batsman.

Even after having a full-blown cricket carrier, according to Steve, he still has some “unfinished business with England & India’. We know you are wondering what that ‘unfinished business’ might be but don’t worry, we have all the news related to this that will satisfy all of your unanswered questions.

Hearing it exactly from the man himself, according to Steve “Winning the Ashes in England and clinching a Test series in India” are the two big mountains that he still has to climb before thinking about his retirement.

Well according to us, keeping your aims high and setting your goals right, are two very important aspects of life and after looking at Steve’s statement we can say that this man understands his capabilities and know-how to challenge himself to do better.

All we can say is that you are absolutely in the right direction Steve and we are waiting to see how you are going to finish your two ‘unfinished businesses’.

Talking about his tour to England last year, where he backed 774 runs from just 4 test matches, Steve stated that he had an astonishing tour but unfortunately Australia lost the fifth and final Test at The Oval which left him disappointed.

In an interview, we saw how this loss matters so much to him when he said that he is sad about the fact that they couldn’t win over them (England) which is something he would still like to do. According to him the series was good but could have been great if they have won it against England and since then he calls it his ‘unfinished business’.

Winning a series against India is another target for the 31 years old batsman and he is looking forward to completing this ‘unfinished business’ too.

Talking about England, Australia and England are meeting again next year for a day match and we already can’t keep our excitement under control as it will be really interesting to watch the outcome of the match. Right?

We wish Steve all the luck for his upcoming matches and hope that he will soon be able to finish his ‘business’ with India and England. If you want to find out more about Steve Smith and his achievements then click on the link given below
