Sri Lanka vs England: England cricketers immune from UK travel forbidding

The English team has been exempted for the trip to Sri Lanka even though the flight from the United Kingdom are being banned as a result of the fresh strain, the authorities from the United Kingdom stated this earlier on this Wednesday.

The English team is set to appear in Sri Lanka on 3rd January for two Test games – and will be held in the absence of observers — in Galle commencing on 14th January.

INSIGHTS ON THE ENGLAND TOUR OF SRI LANKA

The head of Sri Lanka Cricket Ashley de Silva said AFP their squad would be examined for COVID prior to departure and even on appearance, and may also have to endure isolation for 10 days in a bio-bubble environment  on appearance.

He stated that Sri Lankan civil aviation councils discontinued all immediate flights from the United Kingdom, earlier on Tuesday, however,  the English squad will tour on a chartered flight.

De Silva stated that their doctors are having conversation with English squad’s medics and they are relatively pleased with the agreements, he stated. He continued that both the squads have agreed and are glancing ahead to the series.

English cricket team councils announced earlier on Wednesday they obtained confirmations that performers and crew, who tour back to the United Kingdom on 10th December coming next the ill-fated trip of South Africa, will not have to expend the Christmas time in isolation prior to touring to Sri Lanka.

THE NEWS ON ENGLAND TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA

The South African team was observed by the United Kingdom parliament earlier on Wednesday as the source of a fresh mutant strain of COVID-19 found in the United Kingdom.

However, the board of England and Wales Cricket told in an announcement that as the performers returned from South Africa they have done through enduring symptoms and examining assessments and will not required to isolate themselves.
