Simon Doull On Shubman Gill 

Former kiwi cricketer, Simon Doull who was one of the best swing bowlers of his time, praised Shubman Gill for his performance in the game of KKR and SRH. We witnessed Gill scoring 70 runs off just 62 balls to make Kolkata win the game against Hyderabad. 

Simon said that the maturity Gill shows during his game is really commendable and soon enough he will lead a team in IPL. The way he maintained his partnership with Eoin Morgan was just great. He faced bowlers like Rashid Khan who is a world-class bowler. 

Doull said that Gill is under great players like Dinesh Karthik, Brendon McCullum who was the kiwi skipper, and Eoin Morgan who leads England. Being in their presence and learning from them is a very big opportunity to grow. 

Simon then went on to say that he won’t be surprised if we witness Shubman Gill leading as a skipper in the coming two years.
