Shikhar Dhawan Tweeted this on Dada’s Birthday


Shikhar Dhawan, who represents India internationally, was born on December 5, 1985. He bats first for Delhi in first-class cricket and for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League.

He also occasionally bowls off the break with his right arm. He was India’s top run-scorer at the 2013 Champions Trophy, 2015 World Cup, and 2017 Champions Trophy. 

He also made history by becoming the first IPL player to ever hit two consecutive centuries. For his achievements at the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, he even received the “Player of the Tournament” title.

Dada, who turned 50 today, received birthday messages from all across the world. Even Shikhar Dhawan, his former teammate, tweeted him a happy birthday.

Shikhar in his tweet wrote: “Happiest Birthday Dada @SGanguly99. Wishing you good health and serene birthday filled with endless blessings!”

Sourav Ganguly is the former captain of India and the current BCCI president. He was a talented medium-pace bowler as well as a stylish left-handed batter. 

Following the match-fixing charges, Ganguly inspired the Indian team, brought about a new age of transformation, and paved the way for the team’s international success. 

He will be remembered as one of the country’s best players and captains.
