SALMAN BUTT CAN BE SEEN IN NON-PLAYING ROLE AFTER HAVING NO FUTURE WITH PAKISTAN!!

Salman Butt is looking for his career in a non-playing environment after he finds that his chances of selection to the national team are equal to null. In this chain, former captain Salman has taken his name back from the upcoming Quaid-e-Azam Trophy to find his space in a non-playing environment.

 What more you should know?

Former captain of Pakistan national team Salman Butt has found that there is no more cricket for him so, he has decided to try his luck in the non-playing role.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has offered him a spot in the commentator’s panel for broadcasting of first-class cricket. He will join the tournament in the fourth round. Though, he will remain available for white-ball cricket.

On a mic with ESPN Cricinfo, Butt shared his thoughts that he knows that he has no more cricket in the future. He has made a devasting return in cricket by scoring heavy runs.

According to Butt, there is always a very special purpose when you make a return and want that same place that you left before and his intentions are always to play for his nation. Some questions that came to his mind were why he is playing? From whom he is playing?

He thought seriously about these questions and obviously, the reality is harsh. He is not going to get picked in the future. So, he should rather find his spot than waiting for someone else.

Butt was seen as emotional but yeah, he found the control and claimed that saying goodbye to the cricket is never easy, and believe him, no one ever wants to that. But everything has its perfect time, he can’t play cricket for his whole life.

Butt was prepared for the moment as he has always thought that he would leave when he would become a burden on the team.

PCB director Nadeem Khan is considered as the changemaker in the life of Butt. Salman told the press that it was Nadeem who gave him good career advice. Once speaking to ESPN Cricinfo, Nadeem confirmed that he met with Butt.

Conclusion

Well, every player deserves a second chance as life is all about the second chance. But we can’t blame anyone as there may be some internal matters that are not disclosed yet.

What do you think? Should PCB have given him another chance?
