The funds are raised to support the health care system, which has been crumbled due to the COVID 19 surge. Through these funds, the hospitals can get help in providing oxygen, ventilators, and other medical facilities which are having a shortage in the current situation.
The British Asian Trust has launched an emergency Oxygen to the infected people in the country. The Trust appeals to provide oxygen-concentrated devices to needy people. These oxygen devices are taken directly from the air, provided as an enriched gas to patients.
The pace bowler from Australia and Kolkata Knight Riders franchise, Pat Cummins, also donated 50,000 dollars to the Indian hospitals to buy the oxygen cylinders for the infected patients of the COVID 19 virus.
