India and Sri Lanka are scheduled to play the series in the white-ball format. Both the teams will play a series of three matches each in the One Day International and T20 International format. The dates, venues, and the squad for this limited-overs series are yet to be announced by the BCCI.

But now the reports say that India’s legendary cricketer and the former skipper will take up the coaching job for these six matches, which will be played in Sri Lanka. Rahul Sharad Dravid is likely to coach this Indian Team in the white ball series, starting in July.

Sourav Ganguly has confirmed that the Indian Team will tour Sri Lanka for the white ball series. The tourists will play three matches each in the ODI series and T20I format. The Team which will be selected for this tour will be different, and it will have proper players of the limited-overs format.

Rahul Dravid, who has been such an inspirational figure in the Indian Team, will coach this white ball side on this tour. For Dravid, coaching will not be a different experience because he has been working with the younger players of India at the National Cricket Academy, and many players like Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw have learned a lot from Dravid.

Rahul Dravid has been doing a wonderful job with the India A team and the Under 19 team since his retirement. He has been held responsible for making the players match-ready and passing talented players to represent the country.
