After winning the T20I series and tying the test matches, India is all set to lock horns with England in a three-match ODI series.
Today, i.e., July 12th, India and England will contest against each other in the first ODI to win the three-match ODI series.
India played England in a three-match T20I series before moving to the ODI format, winning the series 2-1. The rescheduled test, however, was lost by the Indian team earlier this month.
After a poor T20I series, Jos Buttler and his team will be eager to turn things around as the action now switches to the 50-over format.
The return of England’s top players like Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, and Ben Stokes, who were outstanding in the lone Test against India that England dominated, gives the team a boost.
On this occasion, Punjab Kings tweeted, “After the Test and the T20I series, focus now shifts towards the ODIs.
#SherSquad, are you ready for the series opener?”
They also tweeted “You never know with India Ro…” along with a picture of Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan from the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Probably giving hints to reminisce about the 2018 ODI contest between India and England, which was won by India due to Rohit Sharma’s knock of 137.
The Punjab Kings (PBKS), a cricket franchise in the Indian Premier League, are located in Mohali, Punjab (IPL).
The franchise’s co-owners are Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, and Karan Paul. Its original name, Kings XI Punjab, was given to it in 2008. (KXIP).
The team plays its home games at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. They’ve also played a handful of their home games at Indore or Dharamsala since 2010.
The team has only made one other postseason appearance in 13 seasons, which came in 2014 when they won the league and ended as runners-up.
