Australian batsman, Marnus Labuschagne thinks that their team will relish a minor benefit playing the Test tournament against India as many Australian top-order batsmen will face India after playing adequate games of first-class cricket.
The Australian batsman, Labuschagne, had played a stunning knock of 70 runs in 61 balls in the second ODI against India. The Aussies won the game by 51 runs on the weekend. Marnus Labuschagne had previously scored two centuries in three Sheffield Shield matches.
He stated that it does help to have played some games to get in form and get the timing back across T20s to ODIs to test games.
He stated that the Indian cricketers have recently played IPL and then now suddenly the ODIs. They had previously played an ODI game against New Zealand and currently will be provided with only a couple of days to get back to good shape.
Many of them he talks about have been successfully doing the same for a while and he said that these few players are not strange to this shift. He asserted that he would be startled if these players don’t adapt this rapidly.
He said that the Australians have a benefit as their four out of the top six batsmen have recently played in Shield cricket. So, they do have that form from that series.
As the Australian opener, David Warner has been sanctioned out of the final ODI along with the forthcoming T20 games, Marnis Labuschagne would gladly open for the Aussies if he is invited to.

Labuschagne was queried about how the Australian opener is encountering the mishap. He said the player is absolutely fine and is strong and will come back very soon.
He said that the way the Australian batsman, Steve Smith, and David Warner have been scoring for the team consistently. He believes that they will surely perform the same in the Test format against India.
SMITH’S KNOCK IN PREVIOUS GAME
Labuschagne stated that Steve Smith has played incredibly and in the previous game he didn’t even give any relief. Smith didn’t jeopardize his game by playing big shots but still managed to reach his hundred in just 62 balls. Marnus said that if any batsman is in such a good touch then he becomes a nightmare for every bowler.
Talking about his own knock he said that he was glad to have such an astounding partnership with Steve Smith of 136 runs.
