Pakistan women’s team to tour South Africa for limited-overs series in January!!

Likewise, men, Pakistan’s women also arrived in the cricket field!

Pakistan women’s team start preparing themselves for the upcoming limited over series and on Monday, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced that their super women’s cricket team will tour to South Africa for upcoming three ODIs and T20Is. 

These matches are organized to help both Pakistan and South Africa, so that they will become more stronger for the upcoming grand matches like ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier which is on July 2021. 

There are few teams such as England, Australia, India and New Zealand who have already qualified for the World Cup after securing top positions in 2017-20 ICC Women’s Championship.

Hence, it’s the best opportunity for the Pak’s women to practice hard! 

What about upcoming matches?

Let’s get insights of the upcoming ODI and T20s in which women’s of Pakistan cricket team will show her worth!

The tour begins with the 50-overs games!

The very first ODI match is on 20th January and will be hosted in Durban, whereas the second ODI is after three days at the same venue. 

The third and final ODI will be played in Pietermaritzburg rather than Durban on 26th January.

After the end of One Day Internationals, T20 matches will begin in January, and the first two T20I games will be host in Pietermaritzburg on 29th and 31st January whereas the final T20I match will be played in Durban on 3rd February.

So, folks be ready with the popcorns to watch back to back entertaining matches! 

Which team is at the top!

If we lane down towards the old records of both South Africa and Pakistan’s women cricket team, then South Africa ranked above in both ODI and T20 matches but maybe this time the results change as Pakistan’s team is trying hard to get selection in the upcoming New Zealand event.

This one is Pakistan’s second tour to South Africa within 18 months. Earlier both played three ICC Women’s Championship ODIs in 2019 and overall the match draw 1-1.

For the upcoming matches, the women’s national team selection committee has invited 27 women cricketers for training, which will begins from 20th December at Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi!
