Pakistan Skipper Babar Azam Faces Heat For Allegedly Abusing Woman

Ever since the Pakistan team has arrived in New Zealand for their upcoming tour, the troubles have been mounting up. First, when 53 members arrived on board, 6 of them tested positive for the corona virus, although they had tested negative back in Pakistan when they left.

After that the Pakistan team had to undergo a period of 14-day quarantine before the practice session began. But they were found violating rules of the isolation, by eating together and sharing the food.

New Zealand authorities have strictly told them that such actions won’t be further tolerated and their team would be sent back without even playing a single match. However this attracted strong reaction from the various Pakistani former cricketers including Shoaib Akhtar who said that New Zealand weren’t doing a favour by hosting Pakistan and Pakistan should come back and not play against New Zealand for the next five years.

What the women said:

After this controversy, the newly appointed captain of all formats Babar Azam found himself in trouble when a woman in New Zealand claimed that she was his school friend and he had abused her.

She said that he had promised to marry her when he didn’t achieve much in cricket, but he made her pregnant and never came back and abused her when she tried to contact.

A Rough Patch For Pak:

Seeing all this, one can clearly observe that things are on a rough patch for the Pakistani cricketers right now and they’ll hope to bounce back as soon as possible. PCB wished them good luck and said that the whole nation is standing behind them firmly and they should give their hundred percent.
