MS Dhoni’s mentor Deval Sahay discharged after spending 40 days in hospitals

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s one of the special mentor Deval Sahay was suffering from COVID-19. Deval Sahay returned home after 40 days of treatment in two hospitals. 

From the reports we got to know that he was in critical condition and put on the ventilator. The 73 years old Deval Sahay survived the COVID-19 and returned home safely last Friday. 

Deval Sahay played a very crucial role in Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s life. He provided Dhoni chance to play in Turf Pitches at Central Coal Field Limited. Daval Sahay was working as a Director Personal in CCL.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s father was working for CCL and requested Deval Sahay for help. In Macon, Ranchi had turf pitches. Deval Sahay prepared the Turf pitches under his supervision.

Deval Sahay hired Dhoni when he was representing the SAIL team. Under his guidance, Dhoni had able to perform a lot better.

According to news, Deval Sahay was first admitted to Jagannath Hospital. He spent a lot of time in ventilations there. As soon as he got recovered, he tested COVID-19 positive. That’s where for further treatment Sahay was shifted to Medica Speciality hospital. 

Deval Sahay was fighting for old age illness where the severe Covid-19 caught him. He suffered through deficiency of Sodium, urine infection, low oxygen, and lung infections. After the treatment, he could able to go home.

According to Deval Sahay’s wife, he is still very much weak. He has to take proper rest and give time to himself for getting strength. Otherwise, he is quite improving. Apart from close relatives and friends many players whom he trained visited him.
