Mohammad Amir blames team management for the decision to retire at 28

When we cricket fans heard the news of Mohammad Amir announcing retirement from international cricket at the age of just 28, it took us all by surprise. He was a bowler who could swing the ball both ways and made every batsmen uncomfortable. He contributed immensely to both Pakistan’s 2009 T20 World Cup win and 2017 champions trophy win. In fact in the final of the champions trophy, he was the star of the Pakistani bowling line up which completely dismantled the Indian batting line up. He announced retirement after being dropped from the team for New Zealand tour. 

Says that he was pressurized for a long time:

He has blamed the team management and the cricket board as the reason behind his retirement. He says when he suffered a ban for 5 years from 2010-2015 for being involved in the spot fixing in the Lords test match, he was tortured badly by the Pakistan cricket board. He said that Pakistan cricket board always pressurized him and he was never able to play with a free mindset.

Blames the former Pakistan players:

He also blamed former Pakistani players Misbah-ul-Haq and Mohammad Younis as one of the reason for creating his bad image in front of the board. He told that he retired from test cricket as he wanted to concentrate more on the limited over format but lies were being spread against him that he does not want to play cricket and wants to play other T20 leagues.
