In the very first match, Mitchell Marsh, a 28-year-old, Australian cricketer had to go through an injury against RCB.
Now, Cricket Australia is collaborating with IPL to get all rounder back home where he has to quarantine himself for 15 days as he begins his rehabilitation from the ankle problem.
Marsh to getting Exemption?
If the player returns to Perth then he will have to get an exemption from the Australian government and then quarantine for two weeks. Likewise, he has a chance to fly to Adelaide with the Australian squad for the quarantine process.
Will He Miss Out the Rest Of The Matches?
Mitchell had injured his ankle in the first over in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dubai.
The bowler could only afford to deliver four deliveries. Subsequent scans had confirmed the devastating news that his tournament was over.
This situation could prove very expensive for the SRH team and I am sure that captain David Warner won’t be happy about it. Marsh has got dates booked for the further match in the Sheffield Shield wherein there will be four rounds in an Adelaide-based hub at three grounds in the city.
Other than that, late in November Marsh has to show up against team India which is expected to be in Brisbane. This schedule is waiting for the final sign-off at the government level.
We hope that Mitchell Marsh recovers from his injury soon and we wish the best for his future.
Jason Holder Will Take Place Marsh’s Position!
This news is more or less confirmed that the West Indian all-rounder will take place to fill the gap of Marsh’s absence in SRH’s playing 11 line-ups.
