MI Vs SRH Match-69 Result: Green’s Sensational Century and Rohit’s Half-Century Propel MI To 8-Wicket Victory

Mumbai Indians beat SRH by 8 wickets in a high-scoring match with two overs remaining. Cameron Green scored a brilliant century in this match and it was the fastest century by any player in this season. 

All it started with SRH’s batting where they got a very good start from debutant Vibrant Sharma and Mayank Agrawal. They built a first-wicket partnership of 140 runs. The score was running with a good economy rate and at some point, the team will cross the score of 220 runs. 

SRH has a thrilling batting order with players like Klassen, Glenn Phillips, Markaram, and Harry Brook yet to come. But they were restricted by Mumbai bowlers at 200 runs. Aakash Madhwal did a great bowling performance and picked four important wickets in death overs. The bowlers were expensive but it is Wankhede Stadium and Rohit Sharma knows very well that chasing the score of 200 runs is not a big deal and they smartly bowled in death overs and restricted them to below par score at Wankhede Stadium. 

MI came to bat with positive intent and started slogging from the first over. They were looking solid but Ishan threw his wicket with a poor shot. Cameron Green came to bat and started playing with aggressive intent to bring SRH bowlers under tremendous pressure. They did it very well, Rohit and Cameron Green built a great partnership of more than 120 runs.

Rohit played a cameo of 59 runs along with Cameron Green’s century. But later on, Rohit got out and Suryakumar Yadav performed the rest.They have chased such a huge total of 200 runs in just 18 overs and won this match with 8 wickets remaining. No bowlers were that effective on SRH’s side and could make any impact in the game.
