KKR vs LSG: Match Preview

First of all, let’s talk about Kolkata’s experienced opener Ajinkya Rahane has been ruled out of the entire tournament due to injury. Baba Indrajit can get a chance in his place. On the other hand, Venkatesh Iyer seems to be lacking in consistency while skipper Shreyas Iyer has been disappointed in his last three matches. Keeping the play-offs in mind, Shreyas Iyer needs to play big innings.

At the same time, Nitish Rana has also failed to perform consistently. Umesh Yadav has supported Tim Southee well after coming back from injury while Russell is also taking wickets consistently. At the same time, the spin duo of Sunil Narine and Varun Chakraborty have also done well in the last few matches.

On the other hand, talking about Lucknow, this team has to face continuous defeat in the last two matches. In such a situation, the team captained by KL Rahul would like to avoid a hat-trick of defeat. Captain KL Rahul has failed to score big in the last three matches. The same is the case with veteran Quinton de Kock. He has scored only 11 and seven runs in the last two innings.

In the last few matches, Deepak Hooda has played a responsible innings which is the biggest positive. At the same time, the poor form of young batsman Ayush Badoni continues. He has not been able to touch the double figure in four of his last five innings. Experienced Manish Pandey can get a chance in his place. On the other hand, when it comes to bowling, if Lucknow has to win this match, then Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan, Jason Holder and Ravi Bishnoi will have to bowl well.
