KKR vs LSG: LSG Won In A Last Ball Thriller! Rinku Shines For KKR

The 66th match of IPL 2022  was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, where Lucknow won the match by 2 runs. . In this match, captain KL Rahul won the toss and decided to bat.

Batting first, the Lucknow team scored a total of 210 runs in 20 overs without losing any wicket on the basis of Quinton de Kock’s century and KL Rahul’s half-century and set Kolkata a target of 211 runs to win. In response, despite the strong innings of Rinku Singh, the Kolkata team could only score 208 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 8 wickets.

Rinku-Naren’s Performance In The Lower Order

Rinku Singh and Sunil Narine came out to bat in the lower order against Lucknow. In this match, Rinku Singh became the victim of Marcus Stoinis scoring 40 runs in 15 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 2 fours.

Then Umesh Yadav got out on the last ball, that too without opening the account. At the same time, Sunil Narine remained unbeaten on 21 runs while Andre Russell could not show any miracle and he was dismissed after scoring 5 runs in 11 balls.

Sam Billings Got Out In Color

Sam Billings tried to set color but he failed to convert his innings into a big score. Billings faced 24 balls and scored 36 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 2 fours and became the victim of Ravi Bishnoi.

Captain Iyer Got Out After Scoring A Half-Century

Captain Shreyas Iyer played a strong half-century against Lucknow. He completed his fifty in 29 balls and became the victim of Marcus Stoinis. Iyer faced 29 balls and was dismissed for 50 runs with the help of 4 fours and three sixes.

Nitish Rana Missed Half-Century

Kolkata batsman Nitish Rana had created a good atmosphere and it seemed that he would score a half-century but it did not happen.

Rana was just 8 runs away from his half-century. He faced 22 balls and was dismissed for 42 runs with the help of 9 fours. Krishnappa Gautam followed them.

Both The Openers Did Not Play Well For KKR

Both the Kolkata openers proved to be flops against Lucknow. Opener Venkatesh Iyer returned to the pavilion without opening an account while Abhijit Tomar was dismissed for 4 runs. Mohsin Khan took the wicket of both of them.

De Kock Scored A Century

In this match (KKR vs LSG), opener Quinton de Kock scored a brilliant half-century. Along with KL Rahul, he also started the innings slow but later on he also started setting colors. De Kock completed his fifty in 36 balls.

After this, de Kock did not stop there. He also scored a century. Quinton de Kock also completed his century in 59 balls. He faced 70 balls and scored an unbeaten 140 with the help of 10 fours and 10 sixes.

KL Rahul Hits Half Century

Opener KL Rahul scored a strong half-century against Kolkata. He completed his half-century in 41 balls in this match (KKR vs LSG).

Rahul had started the innings slow but later he took on a fierce form. He faced a total of 51 balls and scored an unbeaten 68 with the help of 4 sixes and 3 fours.
