Kieron Pollard gave a warning to Shikhar Dhawan through Mankading, almost copies Ravi Ashwin|DC vs MI match yesterday

Kieron Pollard is a power-hitting batsman who can also bowl his full quota of overs in limited-overs cricket. Pollard is the mainstream of Mumbai Indians, and he has contributed immensely for them in the five title wins which MI has won till now.

The defending champions are eyeing their third successive trophy, and they will want Pollard to do the damage in the last few overs.

The Windies captain is an experienced player of this unit, and his quality of match awareness is unmatched. In yesterday’s game against Delhi Capitals, Pollard showed a glimpse of his match awareness skills after failing to bat and bowl well for MI.

When the Delhi Capitals were chasing the target of 138 runs set by Mumbai Indians, Kieron Pollard stopped Shikhar Dhawan when the DC opener tried to leave his crease early.

Pollard warned Dhawan that he would Mankad him if he leaves his crease early again. Pollard issued a warning, but he didn’t run him out like Ravi Ashwin, Mankad Jos Buttler in the IPL 2019 season.

Here is the video of that whole incident which captures Kieron Pollard and Shikhar Dhawan.
