Kamlesh Nagarkoti reproduces stunning Mohammed Kaif running catch in epic fashion

This pandemic has spoiled all our plans, hasn’t it? What we thought we would do and here we are stuck within our houses.

We had never thought of such a year. Many things have been affected due to this pandemic, one of them was the popular cricket league IPL

As the lockdown had begun, BCCI had concluded that it’ll not be possible for them to conduct IPL this year. However, as time passed, they agreed to conduct IPL.  Of course, by maintaining safety measures. UAE, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka had offered to host IPL in their respective countries.

They were convinced to conduct it in the UAE. On 19th Sept 2020, it had been started. Fans are so happy as their favorite league has commenced.

In a recent match of KKR against RR, the only undefeated team. Kamlesh Nagarkoti, who was just playing his second game, caught an astonishing catch of Jofra Archer.

At 4th delivery on 15th over, Jofra Archer thought of putting some pressure on the young bowler Varun Chakravarthy by hitting big shots.

However, he had already scored a six just before one ball. Going for the big one again didn’t go well and he ended up giving his wicket.

Nagarkoti covered an ample amount of ground and caught the ball brilliantly. Nagarkoti was back in the team after an injury. The team backed him throughout and now he’s been delivering some tremendous outcomes.

Earlier, in 2004 Mohammed Kaif had caught a catch in a similar way. It was being played at the National Stadium in Karachi. Ever since the fielding skills have risen. Youngsters are doing very well in fielding nowadays.

But, the way Kaif resulted in that dismissal was an incredible example for youngsters to raise their skills in the field. Nowadays, young cricketers are very talented as they grew up watching such legends.

Varun had bowled back of length away from Jofra, making it difficult for him to hit. Moreover, the ball didn’t connect to bat that well and the ball went high and didn’t gain the distance it needed to clear the boundary of long-off. And Nagarkoti ran through the field and caught the ball incredibly well.

The season has just started, let’s see what lies ahead. Hope we get to see Nagarkoti taking more wickets as he’s been doing great.

Hope you found the article interesting. Stay tuned for more.
