Jasprit Bumrah Sets A Unique Record In Second Test Against Sri Lanka

He has taken 120 wickets in Test matches, 113 in ODIs, and 67 in T20s. Interestingly, it was the 8th five-wicket haul of Jaspreet Bumrah’s Test career, but it is only India’s first five-wicket haul. Bumrah has done this twice before in the West Indies, England, South Africa, and once in Australia.

Interestingly, Bumrah took five wickets for eight wickets in his Test career, the first of its kind for an Indian bowler. This is also the best performance of any Indian against Sri Lanka as a fast bowler. Earlier, the record was held by Ishant Sharma. He was 5 wickets faster, scoring 54 runs in Colombo in 2015.
