Injuries are a part of sportsman’s career and they always help them evolve into a better individual. However for many players injuries have been quite harmful as it completely destroyed their careers and they failed to recover.
Recently in the IPL 2020, Delhi capitals suffered 2 major blows in the form of Ishant Sharma and Amit Mishra. Both of them were experienced big players and could have contributed largely to the capital’s further success but suffered injuries at the start of the tournament and headed back home.
Sharma looking good:
Ishant Sharma, who suffered abdominal muscle tear was not even named in the team announced for Australia tour due to his injury and the doubt that the speedster won’t be able to recover from it in time for the tour. However on Wednesday Sharma was back on the field in the M.
Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore where he was being monitored for his bowling by the chairman of selectors Sunil Joshi and chief of NCA, Rahul Dravid. Ishant Sharma “is looking good”, a BCCI observer said after the India quick went through two long bowling spells at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Sharma, who is hoping to make his way to full fitness in time for India’s Test series in Australia (starting from December 17), has been named in the provisional squad, but has to be passed fit to make the trip.
Had a positive session:
The session gave positive indications for Ishant as he seemed to appear in no sorts of discomfort. Sharma’s sessions were supervised by Paras Mhambrey the former Indian fast bowler. Things look good for Sharma and looks like he’ll make a comfortable comeback into the squad for the tests.
