The Indian Premier League’s auctions are all set be happened on 18th February. People are already guessing on which team will choose which players. This time it won’t be a mega auction, so the teams will only be looking for the players that they need not fill up the team. We will be talking about the three teams who will be taking players from the auction.
- Chennai Super Kings- The CSK team already has Suresh Raina back in the team and the return of Raina has led the team in confidence. In the last year’s IPL, the team came 7th on the list which was the lowest that could ever be ranked in the history of the Indian Premier League. Talking about the auctions there is only one slot for an overseas player and they are most likely to choose a batsman who can score. As Shane Watson has retired now, they need a strong player for the replacement of Watson. As per our research, Moeen Ali and Glenn Maxwell is the players who are most likely to be purchase by the team, not both of them, just one. Both the players are great at batting and they are also spin bowlers which CSK missed as there wasn’t Harbhajan Singh last year.
- Delhi Capitals- Last year’s runners-up are also looking to have a number of good players on their side this time. Though they have a team of great players already, there is still a need for a few good players on their side. The team has space for eight players out of which three will be overseas. Currently, the team doesn’t have an all-rounder batsman as a backup for Marcus Stoinis and they will need a left-arm pacer and a wicket keeper too.
- Kings XI Punjab- Team Punjab has a great budget for this year’s IPL and they can target a good number of great players for the tournament. They will be looking for overseas batsmen and bowlers in this year’s auctions as they already have a great lineup of Indian players.
