The 14th season of the Indian Premier League is all set to be played next month and the discussions regarding all the things including the stadium, teams, players, etc. are going on. Today, we will be discussing the three times winner team Chennai Super Kings who couldn’t even qualify in the playoffs last season. It was completely surprising as they had great players and still, they could not make it to the playoffs. It was the first time in the IPL history that the team could not pass to the playoffs. This time, there are some new players in the team and things might work in CSK’s favor and they might win the trophy too.

5. Suresh Raina is back to the team – Suresh Raina had always been a top performer for CSK. Unfortunately, he couldn’t play in the last season. But he is back this year and we are hoping to see him destroying bowlers on the ground. His return might improve this year’s batting lineup too.
4. MS Dhoni – The legendary MS Dhoni was always one of the reasons that the team did so well in the tournament. Though things did not work out well in the last season. But this season we are hoping to see him performing well in the tournament. The player has got potential and can handle pressure very well. The team has already won the title three times under his captaincy and this time it might be the fourth one.
3. Off-Spin all-rounders – The team has bought some off-spinning rounders this season and they might a good addition to the team. K Gowtham who played for Punjab Kings last year has come to CSK for this season. The team spent a very large amount on buying him and we are hoping to see him performing up to the expectations.
2. Imran Tahir – Tahir is a very good bowler and can take wickets. Though he did not play many matches last season due to the rule of playing overseas player. We are expecting that Tahir will play more games this year and show great performance.
11.Dwayne Bravo – Dwayne Bravo has always performed up to the expectations of CSK. Unfortunately due to his injury, he could not play many games last season. Though he is back this year and might turn out as a game-changer for the team.
