IPL 2020 Purple Cap: Mohammad Shami is back on top of the wicket-taker table

It has been a rough year until now. Everything has changed. Nothing is identical as it was formerly. Everything has been shut since March. And the very popular cricket league IPL (Indian Premier League)  was also canceled by BCCI

Cricket fans were devastated by hearing the news. However, later they decided to arrange the league by taking into account safety measures. Yes, it is great news. And the event has already started.

Just like any other season, this season has earned a great response. The matches are being played without an audience in order to maintain safety.

And after six matches guess who is the leading wicket-taking bowler? He is none other than our bowling beast the fast bowler Mohammad Shami. He took four wickets in just two matches. Looks like someone is on top of his form. Crushing every batsman with his fast bowling.

Who Among the Race?

Making his way to the top of the wicket-takers table in the race for the purple cap along with many others such as Sam Curran, and Lungi Ngidi, the young player from Kings XI Punjab Ravi Bishnoi, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Sheldon Cotrell

In the recent match of Kings XI Punjab against Royal Challengers Bangalore,

Kl Rahul exhibited a world-class knock of 132 runs in just 69 balls making a record of the highest individual total by an Indian in IPL. By playing such an incredible knock he had built a foundation very strong making it a little bit easy for other players.

And the night just got more interesting when Punjab came down to the field. That’s when Shami rocks creating pressure on the batsman. Subsequently, he took a couple of wickets with his astonishing performance. He looked in good form and appeared very confident.

Conclusion

Shami had been working on his bowling skills during the lockdown. We all know he has created a cricket pitch on his farmhouse and has been practicing a lot. So, we all know the reason for such an outstanding over the bowls.

It is a result of such hard practice he’s been into during lockdown. He’s made it very difficult for the batsman to bat during his overs.

Hope that Shami continues with his form and that he entertains all the fans with his bowling.
