In the present season of the IPL, CSK has been lagging. They had won their very first match, however, couldn’t maintain it in the following matches. And now they’re at a stage from where they couldn’t afford a single loss.
If they succeed in doing so, CSK may find a spot in the playoffs. This has happened before, where CSK had to face five defeats and they bounced back stronger and became the champion.
In a previous match against SRH, where CSK had to defend 168 runs to defeat SRH. The skipper of New Zealand was set and was at a score of 53. SRH required 46 runs in just 18 balls. With Williamson out there on the strike, it was possible.
KARN SHARMA’S OVER
Karn Sharma came in to bowl the following over. On the initial delivery, Kane strikes a boundary. Karn Shama got Kane into his trap in the very next delivery. However, the following four deliveries didn’t go as they wanted it to. Rashid came to bat and on the very first delivery, he hit the ball at long-on where the ball went over the boundary for six.
In the following delivery, Rashid hits a reverse sweep and the ball goes to the boundary. After which MS Dhoni was seen saying something to the bowler. As he had already conceded a six and a boundary by Rashid Khan.
Then Shahbaz Nadeem came on the strike and Karn Sharma bowled a half-volley and Shahbaz Nadeem punished him and struck the ball for a boundary while playing his very first ball. Dhoni behind the stumps was heard saying: “NAHIII” which means NO. Karn Sharma conceded 19 runs in an over.
This is where Mr. Cool got upset over Karn Sharma. He called Karn following his over and was seen talking to him. According to his gestures, it might be deducted that he said to the bowler to bowling according to the fielding organized. Any mistake in doing so results in a boundary and that’s what happened in his over.
Even though Karn Sharma conceded so many runs, he acquired two big wickets. One of them was the commander of the Kiwis. Except that over, Karn Sharma has been bowling quite well in this season.
