India vs Pakistan Tournament Happening? Ramiz Raza Has A Proposal

Pakistan be seen playing outside the ICC tournament this time? Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Rajar has said that he would make such a proposal to the highest governing body of cricket. It is learned that he will offer competition with four countries. However, the Indian Cricket Board is not enthusiastic about this.

Soon after becoming the chairman of the Pak board, Ramiz indicated that he was interested in launching an India-Pakistan duo even without the ICC platform. A few months ago, the former Pakistan captain offered to start a new tournament. Where four teams including India and Pakistan will play.

In the past, such competitions could be seen in Sharjah. The Australia Cup was held with India, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand. This time, however, according to Ramiz’s proposal, England will be the fourth team instead of New Zealand.

The ICC is scheduled to meet in Dubai on April 10. There, Ramiz can suggest that the ICC host one tournament each year with India, Pakistan, Australia and England. Let’s turn this competition around in four countries. Ramiz can also say in his proposal that if this competition is held, the ICC will be able to make a big profit from television and other rights.

ICC member countries can host bilateral or trilateral competitions among themselves. However, only the ICC has the right to host competitions with four or more countries. Therefore, the Pakistan Cricket Board should make this proposal to the highest governing body of cricket.

It is learned that India will not agree to Pakistan’s offer. An official of the board said that the schedule for the next few years has been prepared. In this case, it is not possible to organize a new competition. So the BCCI does not think the ICC will agree to such a proposal. However, he said India has no problem playing against Pakistan in competitions like World Cup, Asia Cup or Champions Trophy.

India last played a bilateral series against Pakistan in 2012. Since then, bilateral relations have stalled due to deteriorating relations between the two countries. Only Virat Kohli-Babar Ajmara faced in the ICC competition. Even in the IPL, no Pakistani cricketer is allowed to play.
