India vs Australia: Michael Holding highlights an area where ‘India are struggling’

India vs Australia series is always expected to be the one with high intensity and immense competition but things seem to be going contrary this time around.

There have been 2 ODIs played so far in the 3-match ODI series and Australia have shown great character and played some fantastic cricket in order to win both the matches by big margins. India lost the toss in both the matches and got to bowl first but India’s bowling line up ha been extremely disappointing with everyone conceding at more than 6 runs per over and taking no wickets at the start of the innings.

This has allowed Australia to bat freely and they have put up massive scores for India to chase in both the matches and India could not even get anywhere near it. Australian captain Steve Smith has scored centuries in both the innings so far and led from the front.

A good balance needed:

India needs to find a good balance in the team in order to compete with the Aussies in red hot form right now. India needs to work on their bowling line up and make sure the bowlers strike early to build pressure on the Aussies batting line up.

What holding said?

Former West Indies legend Michael Holding also recently said that if India needs to pose a challenge in front of Australia, they need to work on their bowling line otherwise things would remain tough for India. India also have the upcoming T20 and test series, hence they need to improve quickly.
