IND vs AUS 2nd Test game highlights: India gains a victory with 8 wickets in their hand, they have equalized the series to 1-1

India knocked Australia with eight wickets in hand in the another Test game on day 4 to balance the four-match sequel 1-1, as the game was being played at Melbourne Cricket Ground earlier on Tuesday. Following a small score of just 70 to gain a victory, India reached the mark in just 15.5 overs and more sessions exceeding four to spare.

However, in the very initial test game between both the teams didn’t go well for Indians as they lost that Test game which was held at Adelaide.

The captain of India, Ajinkya Rahane, who made 27 runs in second innings without getting dismissed till the very end and the young opener, Shubhman Gill, who scored 35 runs carried their team through the mark even though Aussies dismissed Mayank Agarwal at a small score of 5 runs and Cheteshwar Pujara at just 3 runs.

The Australians couldn’t manage to get more than 200 runs in another inning. Their whole team returned at a score of 200 runs. However, the start on the morning of the fourth day was relatively good for Australians. Their morning commenced with a score of 133 with the loss of 6 wickets.

Nonetheless, Indians had already acquired a lead of 131-runs. In that inning, the skipper of India, Ajinkya Rahane brilliantly scored 112 runs and the all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja who made 57 runs concurrently took their teams total to 326 while answering to the Aussies initial inning sum of 195 runs.  

BATTING STATS OF AUSSIES ON DAY FOUR

The sixth batsman of Australia, Cameron Green was the highest run scorer for the Aussies, as he scored 45-runs, whereas, the new opener for the Australians, Matthew Wade successfully scored 40.

Cameron Green and the pacer, Pat Cummins who scored 22, put in 57 runs of partnership for the seventh wicket with the pitch delivering zero to the deliverers. The pact was halted just following the fresh ball was carried.

INDIAN BOWLING STATS

The Indian debutant fast bowler, Mohammed Siraj brilliantly seized three dismissals whereas the Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah and both Indian spinners, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin grabbed two dismissals individually.
