Imran Khan’s Kabul visit might help revive Afghanistan vs Pakistan bilateral cricket

Bilateral cricket series for most nations with Pakistan has been a big issue due to the diplomatic relations that the nations share with Pakistan. India haven’t played a series in Pakistan after the terrorist attack on hotel Taj in Mumbai which was believed to be carried out by Pakistani terrorists. Sri Lanka hasn’t played a series in Pakistan ever after their bus was attacked by terrorists in Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh has also not played a series in Pakistan for a long time due to poor diplomatic relations. Afghanistan haven’t played a series against Pakistan ever since the 2017 Kabul bomb attack which were done by Pakistani terrorists.

Hence due to these issues, we can see that Pakistan has found it extremely hard to maintain even good relations with their neighbors and hence has been devoid of any cricket for a long period of time.
